I did not just come back from Germany with 1000+ pictures and stories . I came back home with loads of memories and experiences to share . Augsburg , Germany for me was one of the best places i'v ever been to. It's Infrastructure and the people all caught my attention. I loved everything..from the trams to the fast lanes and from the artificial lakes to the mountains!. I personally found the people very adventurous and Sporty.
I am Extremely honored and happy to be a part of the Indo-German exchange program. The Initiative of this program is to teach its participants about the culture differences between the two countries . And it served its purpose well. As expected there is a Major difference in the culture..be it food , clothes , people , buildings even the education system. If there's something remarkable that i have to mention it's the beautiful castles and the hills! . Truly Amazing! .
I was extremely lucky to have the opportunity to get an amazing host family. I can't thank them enough for all the things they gave me during my 14 days stay at their house. I honestly , not even for a second felt home sick! , All thanks to the Griechbaum household! . Thank you for making me feel comfortable! . Thank You Lisa!
The activities were just AMAZING. We visited a lot of neighboring cities and learnt a little about their history and their importance. We went to museums , Skyline park ( An amazing amusement park) , The zoo ,a hot air balloon museum, castles ,the Mercedes Benz factory ,went mountain climbing and bowling. We also went to Munich and shopped until we dropped!
This trip has taught me a lot of things. The word adjustment is now a part of my dictionary. It gave me an opportunity to be Independent for once!..it was a very thrilling thing for me to be so far away from home and having to be on your own.
